Will my insurance cover all your services?
While insurance will cover most of our physical therapy and nutritional services, we privately bill for the rest. If you're ever unsure about your coverage, we recommend you reach out to your insurance company before your appointment to see what your policy includes.
Do you direct bill my insurance?
Depending on the service(s) or treatment(s) we are happy to offer direct billing to most insurance companies including Manitoba Public Insurance, Manitoba Blue Cross, The Great-West Life Assurance Company and the Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba.
What happens if direct billing for my insurance gets declined?
Unfortunately we cannot control when third party insurance company portals are not working, or will not accept an insurance claim. If your claim gets declined, it will be your responsibility to pay for your service at the end of your appointment and speak with your insurance company about your coverage.

Are any family physicians currently accepting new patients?
At Prota Clinic our family physicians are dedicated to providing the best service to their patients. Unfortunately they are at capacity right now and will not be accepting new patient at this time.
What is your cancellation policy for physiotherapy?
At Prota Clinic our Physiotherapists require a 24 hour notice to prevent being billed for a cancelation. In extreme cases or emergencies, we ask that you contact us to let us know what happened and your fee may be waived.
